Thank you to everyone who made my birthday weekend go with a bang (quite literally in one respect thanks to Fox and Dwarf!). I had a lovely weekend spent with some wonderful people, in no particular order it involved beer, tea and cake, wheelie bin jousting (thanks to my vailant steed [info]steel_bonnet and to my 'mounting block'), silly frocks, a fitting for my shiny new toys, a red posing pouch (dont ask - you really dont want to know!), a bomb, new friends, old friends and not too many injuries from the scraps. What more could a girl ask for!

Cor, it sounds like your birthday was busier than mine - I was just waiting for my niece to give birth, and what kind of gift is a screaming baby?!

Happy birthday!

Thanks! You too! I do have the advantage of not really having to 'organise' anything as Chris and Karen always have the event at Tatton the weekend closest to my birthday!

If you'd like the "bomb" as a reminder, I can let you have it, complete with a smoke charge.

Pleasure :-)
It could just be a lace choker or bracelet, if you've got Too Much Sewing already.
If you end up wanting a second piece, to trim something front-fastening, give me a shout; I've got enough stuff to repeat it.

Thanks angel. I hope you like what I have done with that fabric, it was a real pain to get it all to fit as it was only a small remnant, but I have done my best to pattern match where I can.
